Key Responsibilities
- Perform and certify line maintenance activities up to and including A-Check at the base station on endorsed aircraft and engine types.
- Carry out Flying Engineer responsibilities as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with UK CAA Part-145 regulations and company procedures.
- Maintain accurate records, logbooks, and technical documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of safety, reliability, and efficiency in maintenance operations.
Candidate Requirements
1. Licence:
- Valid UK CAA Part-66 Licence with the following type ratings:
- Boeing 747-400 with PW4000 & CF6 engines
- Boeing 777F-200 with GE90 engines
2. Type Training:
- Completed type training delivered by a UK CAA Part-147 approved organisation (or an organisation accepted by the UK CAA).
3. Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience within a Part-145 Maintenance Organisation, with proven competence in line maintenance.
4. Education:
- College degree or higher (or equivalent qualification) in aviation, engineering, or related field.
5. Language:
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
6. Previous Authorization
- Holder of QA Authorization (Support Staff or Certifying Staff) from a previous employer.
7. Mandatory Training
- UK CAA Part–145 Training
- Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS)
- Fuel Tank Safety (FTS) / Critical Design Configuration Control Limitations (CDCCL) – Level 2
- Human Factors and Safety Management System (SMS)
8. Recent Experience Validation
- Logbook signed by the Quality Director of the candidate’s current or previous employer, confirming relevant experience within the last 2 years / 6 months.
