Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supervisor– Material Planning & Procurement to ensure uninterrupted availability of aircraft materials, components, tooling, and consumables supporting our maintenance operations.
This leadership role plays a critical part in maintaining fleet reliability, dispatch performance, and cost efficiency while ensuring full compliance with aviation regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Material Planning & Inventory Management
- Develop and implement material planning strategies for Line & Base Maintenance
- Manage rotables (float management), consumables, expendables & repairables
- Establish stock levels, reorder points & safety stock policies
- Prevent AOG situations through proactive monitoring of critical spares
- Oversee repair cycle management & rotable pool control
- Drive inventory optimization and eliminate excess/slow-moving stock
- Coordinate with Engineering for SBs, ADs & modification programs
Procurement & Strategic Sourcing
- Develop procurement policies for aircraft parts, GSE, tools & services
- Lead RFQ/RFP and tender processes
- Negotiate pricing, long-term agreements & supplier contracts
- Manage OEM, MRO & supplier relationships including warranty claims
- Conduct supplier risk assessments & performance reviews
- Establish rapid response sourcing strategies for critical spares
- Ensure procurement aligns with budget and cost-control objectives
Compliance & Systems
- Ensure compliance with FAA / EASA / UK CAA regulations
- Verify airworthiness documentation (EASA Form 1 / FAA 8130-3)
- Support internal and external audits
- Lead AMOS ERP utilization for planning & procurement
- Maintain accurate master data and supply chain KPI reporting
Leadership
- Lead and develop the Material Planning & Procurement team
- Set performance objectives and conduct evaluations
- Promote cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Finance & Operations

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Aviation Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 5–6 years aviation supply chain experience (Airline or MRO preferred) of which 2–3 years in a managerial role
- Strong experience in aircraft spares planning, procurement & AMOS knowledge.
- Professional certifications (APICS / CPIM / CSCP / CIPS) preferred
